Risks Of Surgery Can Be Causes Of Death

Pain, blood clots, fatigue, pneumonia, partial lung collapse, nausea, sore throat, anesthesia side effects, atrophy, infection, confusion, among others are common risks that patients face when deciding to undergo surgery.

Even though advances in medicine are made every year, basic and deadly mistakes continue to happen. Surgical instruments and other objects such as sponges, needles, and gloves are left inside of patients during surgery. Inside the patient’s body, those items remain for years sometimes.
